Christmas projects

I've been busy making Christmas gifts this year.
I made Jake a matching game.

Kaitlyn had fun trying the game out. She wanted to make sure that it worked ok before giving it to Jake.

I also made some decorations for Kylee's graduation.

I used Christmas garland to made the centerpieces. I just cut it up and hot glued it to an end of a wooden dowel and placed it in some old mason jars. I love old mason jars. Keith would say I have way too many :)

The banner was made out of burlap material and I just used a sharpie to write congrats. I hot glued it to a picture frame that I found at Goodwill and spray painted.

I also made some chefs hats for a couple of friends. Kaitlyn was my model. I'll have to make one for her in the future.

I also made a fall wreath.

And I made a couple of shirts for a friend too.
I think the owl is my favorite one.

I have to post some more pictures of things I made after Christmas!
Have a Merry Christmas!

Look who's crawling!

So the last couple days Kaitlyn has been trying to crawl. I really can't explain how she was doing it but today is when it all clicked. I guess now my days are going to get very interesting.

I’ve been wrapping gifts and she just loves to help out. She even wanted to wrap her Love Bug! It was pretty cute.

Everyone have a great week!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Keith and I decided to help with the Knights of Columbus Thanksgiving lunch Thanksgiving day. We took Kaitlyn to my parents house and we went to help out. We mostly just cleared the tables and cleaned trays but it was wonderful to help out. I felt like God has giving us so much this year and I just wanted to give something back. I really liked the experience and will continue doing so in the years to come.

After that we went to get Kaitlyn and spent some time with my family. My parents had a full house. Aunt Suze and Uncle Larry, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Denny, my Grandma and Mike and Janelle were all there. They left Sunday so we got to see them quite a bit. After we got Kaitlyn we went to Keith's parents house for Thanksgiving dinner with the Meints side. We ate and played cards all night.

On Friday I went to the mall at 5 in the morning and came home at 6:30 and went back to bed. I didn't buy a whole lot but got a few gifts. The rest of the day we went to Lincoln to the Husker game with my cousins from California. We were going to tailgate but we decided to just go somewhere and eat some lunch because it was too cold. Anyway it was a great game because we beat Colorado and won the Big 12 North division!

We had a great Thanksgiving and we are so blessed to have a wonderful God. I feel so blessed to be able to stay at home with our awesome daughter and have a truly unbelievable husband. Love ya Keith!

Here are some pictures of Kaitlyn.

She started sitting up by herself on Nov 22nd.

We rolled over and played with Daddy's shoes.

Helping mom fold socks.

I love socks!

Socks are my favorite!

Yummy bananas.

Give me more!

Update on Kaitlyn she isn't crawling yet but it was so funny because we all would stop and watch her everytime she got on her hands and knees, rock a little bit and roll over. I'll let ya know when it happen :)

Wedding

A couple weekends ago Keith and I went to Denver, to one of my college friends wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the bride was gorgeous (love ya Kat).  Here are a few pictures from that weekend.

Love ya girls and I miss ya! And yes I didn't take any pictures of the actual wedding or bride. Sorry Kat, but we had a great time! I did take some pictures from the website from the wedding.

On a side note, that was the first weekend Keith and I left Kaitlyn. She stayed with my parents and had a great time. My mom taught her how to pat-a-cake.
