Thrifting Finds

Well I don’t know if you know, but I love Fridays and Saturdays mornings in the Spring and Summer. Its not because of the nice cool mornings, which it is a plus but it’s the Garage Sales. Nothing is like walking up to a garage sale and not knowing what you are going to find. Sometimes might not see a thing that you want or it might just be overpriced, but others times you have to watch out. You might go a little crazy, just like I did this weekend.

Well this weekend was a good weekend for vintage finds!! Check out the loot that I scored!

I found this old school desk for 5 bucks! I don't even need to repaint it!

It's a little too big for her right know, so I'll have to put it away for a couple more months.

I found all of this a the same place!

The two fans I got for 14 bucks and they both work!

I'm going to sell this one on etsy. So go and check out my shop if you want a fan.

I got the 2 picture frames for 25 cents each! I'm going to repaint them and put them in my living room maybe?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of this elastic cording but a 1 dollar for all of it I couldn't pass it up.

Then I got this red wooden box. I thought it would look cute in the bathroom or something. I got it for 50 cents so I thought why not.

Kaitlyn liked putting her toys in it.

I'm kinda happy I don't find this much stuff every weekend because we would run out of room fast. If you talk to Keith he would say we already have.

1st Baseball Game

A couple of weekends ago we went to the Husker baseball game in Lincoln with Nate and Amanda. It was a great warm and windy day but we had a lot of fun. Keith, Kaitlyn and I sat on the brumn. Kaitlyn did fall over once and rolled down the brunm a little bit before rolling into the people in front of us! She was really good throughout the whole game.

She did like her hat. Wore it about 2 seconds.

Eating a snack.

I don't remember who we played but I know that we did we!
Thanks Nate and Amanda for letting us go with you!

Mother's Day!

Motherhood: it is the never-ending journey I am so grateful to be on. Today and every day I am grateful for the beautiful role models that have guided me... and continue to hold my hand when I need them.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I had a great one. We went to a coffee shop a couple blocks from our house and had an apple stone and a smoothie. I know no caffeine, we aren’t coffee drinkers. Then we headed off to church. After church we went to the park and ate lunch with Keith’s family. I wish I would have brought my camera there was some great photos opportunities.

After lunch and playing on the slide and swings we went to Grand Island to look for a new camera!! We didn’t come home with one but now we know what we want.

For supper we stopped at my parent’s house for dinner. My mom made a cherry cheese cake. I love her cheese cakes. Kaitlyn discovered that she likes them too.

We had a very busy day but it was great to spend sometime with family. Hope all the mommy’s had a great day as well!!
