Kaitlyn 9 months

Our little Kaitlyn has been very busy this month! We have learned to play peek-a-boo. First, we say "Where's Kaitlyn" and she will cover her eyes and then she will take them down and then we say "there she is" and then she will just giggle. She really likes to play it. We also have learned to wave bye-bye. Then last week, she was looking a her kitty book and said "Kitty" loud and clear. She has really started to pick up on things fast. She is getting better at signing "more" and she says (or what sounds like) hi.

She has also started to walk behind her walker. The first few times she wouldn't bend her knees so she looked a lot like an old lady walking behind a walker. She is getting much better now.

We also like to walk on our knees.

Business is good

Boy, have I’ve been busy. I started my Etsy shop Cody’s Boutique last November and I’ve been selling scarves and some onesie and some other things. But in the 1^st 8 days of February I’ve sold over 20 items. So really haven’t been doing anything, but sewing. I’ve gotten to the point that I could do 2 to 3 shirts a day but that’s with me staying up late at night. So all I can say is that I’m thankful that the Valentine’s Day rush is over.

Las Vegas

So it's been awhile since I've posted last. Keith and I went to Las Vegas on the 11th to the 14th.  So I got to celebrate my 26th birthday out there. Keith had some meetings there and I got to tag along with him. We got there Tuesday morning and had the whole day to do whatever. The funny thing is that one of Keith's good friends from college (B.C. and his girlfriend) was there and we got to hang out with him. His mom lives out there and took us to the Hoover Dam. Wednesday we didn't do a whole bunch and the last night we went to the Bodies exhibit and then to the Beetle's Love show for my birthday. I really liked the show. We did gamble a little and lost a little. But the highlight was when I put 4 dollars in a slot machine and won 60 dollars. We both played craps and lost. Its a fun game but you can lose it all really fast.  Keith did good at the blackjack table, sometimes.
 While we were in Vegas my mom and Keith's mom watched Kaitlyn for us. Kaitlyn had a lot of fun with both grandparents.

Kaitlyn is now 9 months old and still no teeth. She is busy crawling around the house and is best buddies with Gizmo.

Attack of the Peas!

Saturday I was making Kaitlyn some peas in the blender. I had it on and I had a spoon in it mixing the peas around making sure that it was getting well blended, I've done this a thousands of times (ok maybe like 50 times) and it exploded in my face. I think it was an air bubble and it popped into my face. I had peas all over my face I couldn't open my eyes, so I had to feel my way over to the stove where there was a towel to wipe my face. Keith came in a few minutes later and saw my mess. We took some pictures of it to share with you.

I wiped most of it off, but I had it up my nose too!

But Kaitlyn really did like those peas so I guess it was worth it!

Next time I will turn it off before I take the lid off.

Sad day :(

The other day Kaitlyn and I went to Wal-mart to get some after Christmas deals. While I was looking at my coupons and pairing them up to some gift sets and Kaitlyn lost her bear hat.

I realized it after we checked out and I went back and look everywhere. No hat! I called Wal-mart and asked them to look in the lost and found but they didn't see it. I'm so bummed. My mom got that hat for Kaitlyn. So the last couple of days she hasn't had a hat. I order a different hat for her on Etsy (the best place ever) and it won't be here of a couple more days.

So last night it snowed and it so cold out I made Kaitlyn a hat this morning.  Its not the warmest hat ever but it will do for a couple of days.

Christmas
